A Near Perfect Night

As a Yankee fan you get extra excited with a weekend series against the Bosox. But sometimes early in the year with the hockey playoffs and the Masters going on it just does not have the same flair.

But Friday night was one of those Yankees games that made it super sweet and you just wanted to get more. Chien Ming Wang throw a masterpiece in Fenway: a two-hit 93 pitch complete game and missing a no no buy just inches. Once again...where was this guy in October? During the regular season all he does is win.

JoeGirardi showed me something last night: he ignored the pitch count and did not rush to the bullpen, something maybe last year the team might of done. It would be nice to take 2 of 3 this weekend but even if they don't Friday was real special.
