The Yankees went to 2 and 2 after getting bombed by the Rays Friday night. After all those false reports about rain on Friday night Ian Kennedy must of wished it rained as he just did not have it against Tampa in the first Friday night game of the year at the Stadium as the Rays won big 13 to 4.
The rookie could only go 2 1/3 innings as he just did not look good at all getting in and out of trouble. I know it is early but one thing I like is the new look bullpen of Jonathan Albaladejo, Billy Traber, Brian Bruney and Ross Ohlendorf . Unfortunately the duo of Kyle Farnsworh and La Troy Hawkins has stunk.
Andy Pettitte turn is finally here as he goes against Tampa on Saturday. To make room the team has to send down one of the kids. Too bad the team can't get be sent down or rid of Hawkins or Farnsworth who just seem to give this bull pen a bad vibe. Lets hope Andy has it against the Rays or maybe he could of hoped for rain.
