A new era in Yankee history takes place at the big ball park on Tuesday night as Joba Chamberlain will make his first major league start against the Blue Jays.
If Toronto rotation goes the normal this weekend Jobas first start could be against Blue Jay ace and Yankee killer Doc Holiday. Most Yankee and even baseball fans believe Joba should stay in the bullpen but the Yanks drafted him as a starter and that's what he will be. Look for 65 to 70 pitches on Tuesday and see where it goes.
As a Yankee fan I want to hope for the best here but I still feel the best thing for the big guy is to set up Mariano and be the future closer. What ever happens it will be interesting.
