After the biggest and most exciting win of the year Thursday afternoon off the bat of Jason Giambi the 2008 Yankees showed you what they are all about. After getting a great performance by Darrell Rasner who pitched 8 innings of 2 run ball only to get loss. Just when you feel this time is going to take off...it just sinks again you can't blame the pitching on this one.
Kansas City has lost 11 straight on the road and a record of 24 and 37 but looked more like the 1977 Royals. As I said before it is tough to figure. Is it Cano? A Rod? Posada? Jeter? Who knows... but right now it don't look like there is too much there. The only front office news we are hearing about is giving a new contract to GM Brian Cashman. Maybe with getting 4 million through the gates and making a lot of money they have put winning right away as not a top priority.
